Within the Myers and Briggs personality system, it’s easy to assume the

and
ENFJ
are inseparable siblings. They make a great team, but more because of their marked differences than their similarities.
While surprising to some, both types would agree that they are not personality twinners.
So… how do you tell them apart?
ENFJs are giving, determined teachers who strive to make the world a better place, and their desire to better the population is anything but selfish. “The Teacher” types want others to reach their fullest potential and hold others to a high standard. Their overall desire is to see others (as well as themselves) become the best, most self-actualized version of themselves, and they champion humanitarian causes.

You’d think that the Marie Kondo-esque
Judging personalities
would thrive under pressure. After all, Judgers are known for being hardworking, focused, and organized to a T. The reality? Most Judgers only prosper in a structured environment.
When there’s no structure
,
stress
can take over, and turn our lives upside down.
Intuitive-feelers personality types — those with NF as their middle letters on the
Myers and Briggs 16 type test
— share many defining characteristics. But divergent life experiences create plenty of variety within the type.
The differences may be observed at the individual level. But they may also be seen through the lens of gender. Intuitive-Feeling men may think, act, and react differently than Intuitive-Feeling women. Not in every instance, but at least in some.
Judging personality types have so many strengths, but one of our greatest is the ability to thrive in a structured routine. Judgers are amazing helpers when you need someone to line up all of the details. We’re great at laying down a game plan for a vacation, organizing someone’s space, and serving as personal financial advisors. So what happens when a detail-oriented, structured being like yourself finds there is no structure?
Over the past year, we’ve all had our unique experiences of adapting to life in a time of pandemic. With lockdowns and
work from home
mandates, many of us were forced to endure months of near-solitude, and saw our daily routines disrupted. While some saw these restrictions as an opportunity for slowing down, others
struggled with the lack of social interaction
imposed.

Each of the 16 personality types has extraordinary qualities, strengths, and opportunities for personal growth. Whether you’re an Introvert or an Extravert, a Thinking type or a Feeling type, every combination in the
16-type system
has a few traits that aren’t recognized often enough. For example, when I say I’m an INFJ, people are more concerned with my empathetic or enigmatic nature than some of my lesser-known strengths.

Every type has its own set of unique strengths and weaknesses. While we are aware of our individual differences, it’s easy to make assumptions across the board regarding particular groups and how they operate. This becomes too apparent when we look into the types that have an "F" in their four-letter combination. Here, the assumption is that they’re going to be overtly emotional and not as logical. There’s another way to say this, and that’s to assume that people with a strong Feeling preference don't struggle emotionally. Isn’t it strange that we never phrase it this way?
Maya Angelou was an American author, poet, and civil rights activist. She is best known for her award-winning memoir, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, as well as numerous collections of poems and essays.
Apart from being a writer, Angelou was a tireless advocate for civil rights. Throughout the 1960s she worked alongside civil rights leaders like Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Jr., and South African freedom fighter
