They do give you a free career planning guidebook if you review their product, but needless to say I'm one of those individuals who spends a lot of time exploring my personality type and trying to find my optimal path and examine what's working and what isn't in my day to day, so I was curious.
This wasn't the most comprehensive set of guidelines I've ever read, but it did pull out some interesting points I haven't seen before. It's not too expensive compared to other career planning/personality sites, but it doesn't have aspects that particularly stand out. I definitely would recommend it for those people who need something to enhance their current research or start them on their process, but not as an end all to personality career planners.

Very insightful analysis, allowed me to gain clarity on what aspects of my current job aren't working for me. This is a great guideline for my career search and I think it will be most effective in ruling out careers that I think are "ideal" for me but really not a good fit. I love these types of assessments and this one did not disappoint!

The TypeFinder career report puts the information needed in a concise, easy to read format. It provides insight into the role personality plays in work. It not only provides the good points, but cautions about potential weaknesses. The report also gives guidance for pursuing the right career.

Honestly, I think this is one of the best online career assessments I have taken. It was thorough, comprehensive, and informative, and I truly feel like it helped me really get an idea of my core personality types, my key strengths, and even, my growth potential. It is also presented in a concise and intuitive manner, so the contents are easy to understand and evaluate. I would recommend this to anyone trying to get a personalized understanding of their unique motivations in career (and in life in general). It helped me not only understand what I want to do with my life, but also why I, personally, would feel so fulfilled doing it.

I was actually blown away by my experience with Truity. Their TypeFinder Career test was truly amazing, and the results were spot on for me, and helped me understand myself much better. I have a much clearer idea of what components my future career should have. They combined the Myers-Briggs components of personality with the 6 career interests, and generated the most impressive assessment. What’s more is they even offered my non-profit organization discounted assessments. I am more than pleased with Truity, it is clear that a lot of research and care goes into their work and mission.
